"I took part in the six-week case study which Carla ran from November to January. At the start of the programme I felt bloated, tired and too lethargic to do anything. Carla really spent some quality time with me going through the changes I could make to my diet and lifestyle and gave me some food and mood diaries to complete along the way. She is a qualified nutritionist and was able to answer every objection I put forward. Completing these diaries and seeing her weekly really made me focus on how I wanted to look and, despite it being the Christmas period, I found myself thinking about what I was putting into my body and making some sensible choices with the result that I lost nearly half a stone during that six weeks. I also looked and felt better, my work colleagues were remarking that they had noticed my weight loss and, in following the low GL way and making subtle changes to my diet, I found I never felt hungry.
